針對先前由微軟資助美金20億元完成企業私有化一事，Dell創辦者暨執行長Michael Dell針對旗下合作夥伴與客戶透過電子信件予以說明，表示這項改變將促成Dell未來未來全新發展局面。

在不久前，Dell證實將由微軟出資美金20億元，並且將以美金244億元的資金將企業恢復私有化，同時也強調微軟資助將不會影響PC產業鏈生態。稍早，Dell創辦者暨執行長Michael Dell透過電子信件方式向旗下合作夥伴、客戶說明，表示此次企業私有化將為Dell帶來全新發展局面，並且將有助於日後競爭力與企業市佔成長。

根據電子信件內容，Michael Dell將持續擔任Dell董事長與企業執行長職位，同時也深信此項決定將會十分正確。以下為Michael Dell所發出電子信件全文：

The agreement to take Dell private represents an exciting new chapter for our company and for you, our customers.

We’ll have the flexibility to continue organic and inorganic investment and drive industry-leading innovation.

We’ve made solid progress over the past few years. Our leadership and our strategic execution have been consistent, as we’ve built a comprehensive portfolio to help you succeed. Secure, easy to manage, end-to-end solutions from the cloud to the data center to devices remain at the core of our value proposition to you.
